COMMON THREADS
A Summer Exhibition
Opening reception: thursday, july 9th 6-9PM
The longer days of summer make it a natural season to connect. At Anticus, we are curating not just new pieces of art, but a new way of understanding them. As you visit us throughout the summer, whether during art walks, private tours, or a stolen moment from your everyday life, we will be highlighting artworks that point to shared moments. “Common Threads”: a summer collection envisioned by our Master Curator, Rose Bowne, invites you to focus on a single piece and then see it through the many lenses of the lives it might touch.
This collection will include all of the mediums enjoyed here at Anticus. We are exploring the connections that bring these works together and the ways they resonate within our homes, our hearts, and our shared experiences. As each collection evolves, so too does our understanding of what draws us to a work of art. We invite you to spend time with these works throughout the summer and discover the common threads that speak to you. In those common threads, we often find something of ourselves.
Exhibition running from July 9th through September 3rd. Please visit the events page or call the gallery for specific Art Walk collection information.
