"Dualities" serves as the second theme of our summer exhibition, Common Threads, investigating the different ways we express the ideas and stories that unite us all. 

In the eyes of the beholder, we are confronted with the idea that two meanings can exist at once. The stillness captured in a moment that also carries movement, the chaos of the world around us alongside the moments of peace right in front of us, and even the emptiness of a place that is normally bustling with people. It is within this coexistence that we begin to appreciate duality, allowing these realities to speak to one another.

As I looked at this collection, I was amazed by the dual worlds each piece of art carries, and how, with every new perspective, I become more immersed in the worlds the artists have created.

Through each artwork, we step into a world of polarity, explored through symbolism, philosophy, and energy. I am thrilled for you to experience it for yourself and to discover the way seemingly opposing ideas reveal themselves as parallel truths.
